Observing the Sourcing Standard.
London, 2026 — Sornave Studio selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.
Four stages from initial observation to catalogue entry.
Initial Product Observation
Products enter the Sornave review queue through independent discovery: sourcing channels, independent wellness publications, or direct submissions. The team records the product name, category, and initial ingredient observation before formal review begins. Products are logged in the queue regardless of brand size or origin.
Ingredient Transparency Check
The full ingredient list is reviewed for completeness. For body care formulations, all components must be disclosed. For supplement ranges, the nutritional composition must be fully documented including inactive ingredients. Products with incomplete disclosures are held from listing until documentation is provided.
Supplier Documentation Request
Where principal ingredients are plant-derived, mineral-based, or involve cold-pressed oils, the studio requests sourcing documentation from the supplier or brand. Documentation is requested for: origin of extraction, standard of processing, and any relevant quality assessments from the supplier's own records.
Catalogue Listing & Documentation
On completion of review stages 1–3, the product is listed in the active catalogue with an entry date. The catalogue record includes: product name, category, key ingredients, format, and a brief editorial observation. Commercial relationships, if any, are disclosed in the entry notes.
What the studio looks for in sourcing.
For body care items, sourcing quality is observed through: the origin of cold-pressed carrier oils, the purity and extraction standard of botanical extracts, and the documented concentration of active components such as vitamin E or plant-derived antioxidants.
For supplement entries, the studio observes: the form of principal nutrients (for example, methylcobalamin vs cyanocobalamin for B12, or lichen-derived vs synthetic D3), the stated concentration per serving, and the origin of mineral-form nutrients such as zinc bisglycinate or ferrous fumarate.
Products in the Sornave catalogue are selected based on published ingredient research and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing. No claims regarding specific outcomes are made or implied by the catalogue record.

Independent observation, not endorsement.
The Sornave catalogue is not an endorsement of any listed product. It is an independent documentary record of products that met the studio's ingredient transparency and sourcing review standards at the time of listing. The catalogue records observations; it does not make claims about product performance.
When new sourcing information warrants a revision to an existing entry — whether a reformulation, a change in supplier documentation, or a correction to ingredient information — the catalogue record is updated. Significant changes are noted with a revision date. Withdrawn entries remain in the archive as closed records.
Sornave Studio discloses any commercial relationship with listed brands or suppliers that could influence the editorial independence of the catalogue. Where a brand has provided samples or other consideration, this is noted in the entry record. The review criteria are applied equally regardless of commercial relationship.
Sornave Studio is an independent wellness catalogue presenting body care and daily supplement selections. The catalogue is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.
Products listed in the Sornave catalogue are presented for informational purposes and reflect the selection team's observations on everyday body care and wellness supplement routines. The catalogue is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Individuals with specific requirements are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional before introducing any new routine.
Methodology questions.
The studio receives product submissions from brands and independent producers. All submissions are entered into the standard review queue and assessed against the same ingredient transparency and sourcing criteria as independently sourced products. Submission does not ensure listing.
The review queue is managed on a rolling basis. Standard review from initial observation to catalogue listing typically spans two to four weeks, depending on how promptly supplier documentation is provided. Products with complete documentation at submission tend to move through the process more quickly.
The studio reviews disclosed ingredient information against published ingredient research and cross-references principal components with supplier documentation where available. The studio does not independently analyse product samples in a laboratory setting; the review is documentary and editorial, not analytical.
Yes. Entries may be withdrawn when new information about formulation changes, sourcing alterations, or ingredient disclosures warrants removal. Withdrawn entries are retained in the archive as closed records with a withdrawal note and date. This maintains the documentary integrity of the catalogue.
